Hail the Conquering Graduate!

Congratulations to my dear friend Brooke. Tomorrow she graduates from MSU-B with a B.S. in Mathematics. I can't tell you all how much I admire her - she achieved Magna Cum Laude for a math degree (wow) all while working and raising her son, Ian. Here are the two of them after Convocation today. (Sorry it's such a far-away shot!)


Brooke, I would never have made it through Research Writing and Spanish without you - you were the only thing that made them bearable! And it was so much fun to get to know you that first semester in College Algebra. You are one of my best friends, and I am so proud of you this day.

back home and back to reality

Hello girls!

I have finally taken enough hints from Brooke and am here to tell you that I had a great time in Italy and Germany...and Minneapolis.

I am finally home and back to work after being gone for most of the month of April and my spare time is going to be filling up quickly with organizing, labeling, and posting pictures from the trip for you all to see! Don't get your hopes up too high...but expect a link sometime in the next few weeks.

Brooke, I hope your finals go well! What day will you be finished? We need to celebrate.

Well. That was the update, just so I could say that I posted, even though I have neglected to do so for such a long time. I'm back off to work now.
