Kindred Spirits

"Marilla is a famous cook. She is trying to teach me to cook but I assure you, Diana, it is uphill work. There's so little scope for imagination in cookery. You just have to go by the rules. The last time I made a cake I forgot to put the flour in."

Hey! I'm a little excited about this being my first comment on a BLOG site! I am enjoying my weekly tradition of spending Saturday morning in a coffee shop downtown with my roommate and a hot cup of coffee. Andrea, I am glad to hear you had such a good time last weekend, and it really was great to see you. I know of the "four" of us, we weren't always the closest, but I do hope we can continue to develop our friendship, and continue another tie between our two churches. The movie was so awesome! Thank you! At first I was a little embarrased to realize what I was like a couple of years ago, but it helped to remind me of all the blessings God has given me through you guys. This BLOG stuff is pretty cool -- its fun to read all of your guys' random comments, and to hear about Amanda's adventures in Africa. One question?: What is up with the monsoon season in this part of the state!? By the way . . . You missed a great Pentecost feast last Sunday, but maybe if I have an "open house" when I move into my condo you can come visit.

Thanks Amy! Why are the posts that are the most difficult to write the ones that people like to read the most? Ironic. :)

Brian, I'm glad you liked the video. And I'm sorry to inform you, but I don't think any of us have matured a lot since that video was made. ;) We may have gotten more boring, but not more mature. And if you say any different, I'm going to have to tear you apart. *wink*
